Children enjoy active and engaging learning and drama activities and performances are excellent in extending their knowledge along with developing their levels of confidence and self-esteem.
All classes perform a parents’ assembly once a year in the school hall, which the whole school watch. All the children take part in church services to celebrate Harvest, Christmas and Easter. The Year 2 classes perform an assembly for their parents at the end of the Summer term.
The Nursery classes and the Reception classes perform a play in the Michaelmas term for the school, parents and guests which involves singing, dancing, group acting and lots of fun! The Year 1 and 2 classes perform a more dramatic play at the Edward Alleyn Theatre in either the Lent or Summer term. This is a longer and more involved play which can only be described as an all-singing, all-dancing production.
