DUCKS is a non-selective school for boys and girls aged 6 months to 7 years situated in beautiful grounds in Dulwich

The Key Stage one children were visited today at DUCKS by the Peli and Zebe Roadtastic Adventure, performed by a company working in partnership with the Southwark council Road Safety Team.

The DUCKS School Hall transformed into a fully lit and staged Theatre overrun with pirates on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 March.

On Friday 16 March the Duckling Room children went on a trip to Sydenham Hill train station. They enjoyed watching the trains arrive and depart and waving to the passengers and train drivers.

The Brixton Fire Brigade delighted the Kindergarten children last Friday with a visit in their fire engine.

On Friday the 13 January the Kindergarten children welcomed a very unusual visitor, Amelie the corn snake. The children learnt lots of interesting facts and some were brave enough to even handle her.

Congratulations to two DUCKS children from Teal Class whose artwork was chosen from a selection provided by Year One children to appear in the Dulwich College 2012 calendar which is being sold in aid of the College's continuing support for their link school in Buwembe Uganda. Their pictures have been framed and will be displayed at the College Christmas Fair this Sunday and following that ouside the Master's Study.

“7+ Surgery” sessions are taking place throughout the second half of the Michaelmas term to assist parents of Year Two children who are considering future schools from September 2012.

On Friday 4 November, Nursery and Reception children at DUCKS started their Diwali celebrations with a special assembly.

The new academic year marks the launch of a refreshed look and feel for all College publicity materials, including the website, signage, stationery and prospectus.

DUCKS celebrated the Grand re-opening of the DUCKS Library in the Infants' School.
