DUCKS is an independent Kindergarten and Infants school. Places are generally offered for children by date of registration, with priority being given to children of Dulwich College staff and siblings of children already within DUCKS. Our waiting lists do become full very quickly and parents are, therefore, advised to register for a prospective place as early as possible.
Our entry procedure requires that parents visit DUCKS for a tour and a discussion on the entry process before registering. A £25 registration is charged.
Parents will usually be informed if a place becomes available for their child in the spring prior to the autumn term when the child is due to start. Children are required to come for a visit and spend some time in the relevant class before a formal offer is made.
There is an assessment process for a child applying to join DUCKS in Years 1 or 2 in order to establish his/her ability to benefit from and adapt to the learning already established in the class.
