
The intermediate Maths Challenge, run by the UK Mathematics Trust, is the single biggest academic competition in the country, with over 100,000 pupils competing.
2012 was a record breaking year for Dulwich. We had our highest ever number of entrants (182) and won a record 130 awards in the Challenge competition.
14 boys qualified for the final phase, the Maths Olympiad, to solve questions of extraordinary difficulty and had stunning success.
Milad Jeilani, Henry Dickie, Henry Bradley, Eric Wu and Yichun Tu all finished in the top 200 in the country and earned Merit certificates. Kiryan Park and Tae Youn Kim finished in the top 100, and earned Distinction certificates.
At the very top Seungki Lee, Leslie Leung and Danyl Kharytonskiy placed in the top 50 nationally, an outstanding achievement and testament to the boys continuing dedication to their studies.
