Intermediate Maths Challenge Success

Intermediate Maths Challenge winners

The IMC, run by the UK Mathematics Trust, is the largest academic competition in the country, with over a quarter of a million entrants.  

Over 150 Dulwich Middle School pupils entered, securing our best results since 2012; 117 students placed in the top 25% nationally, of which 40 progressed to the final Kangaroo and Olympiad rounds. Jensen Tong, Andrew Ng and Simon Xu all earned Olympiad Medals (pictured), with Simon earning an additional book prize for one of the highest scores in the country.

Overall, we had an impressive 15 students scoring in the top 500, with Hilary Wu, Lunzhi Shi (both distinctions), Stephen Liu, Girinath Haridas, Boris Ter-Avanesov, Jason Chow,Toby Evans, Jun fung Ip, Tom Drayton, Panchenchen Feng, Tom Burton performing extremely well.  Congraulations to all those who entered.
