The season finally got under way properly with a 100% winning record against Brighton College an amazing start; FANTASTIC!

Despite the terrible conditions, our season’s traditional curtain-raiser went ahead at Charterhouse. This is a four school match with Charterhouse, Lord Wandsworth College and Wellington College as opposition.

We met early on Friday morning at Dulwich with a few bleary eyes as we made our way to Luton Airport for the short flight to Gibraltar.

The match was played on the 28 March in aid of the Hassan White Trust, a former first team player, who was present to witness this thrilling contest.

Seb Downing 10U has been selected for the England Under 15 Ice Hockey squad in Latvia over Easter. They will be playing against teams from Canada and USA. CJJ

In the final match of this season our U15 team played in the LISBA Cup Final against a strong and sizable Whitgift team. From the tip off it was apparent that it was going to be an extremely close affair, and so it proved to be.

The U11 A team travelled to Harrow last Sunday, to play in the Independent Schools Football Association U11 7-a-side tournament.

On Monday 12 March the Upper School and Year 10 boys both raced in the first events of what will become an annual fixture in the house sporting calendar, the Cycling Hill Climb Competition.

The U16 VII won the prestigious QE Barnet Tournament on Sunday 11 March in emphatic style.

It was a great day yesterday at the Inter-Counties Cross Country Championships in Birmingham, with excellent performances from Noah Armitage-Hookes and Aiden Williams both running for Kent in the U13 boys race (Year 7 and 8).

Dulwich College 1st XV won a tense and pulsating semi final game in Coventry at Broadstreet Rugby Club by a narrow 22 points to 16.

Congratulations to the Senior Basketball team who have qualified for the last sixteen stage of the Under 18 English Basketball Cup.

The event traditionally begins with a day and a half of giant slalom and slalom training to prepare for the competition which begins on day two. However, due to terrible visibility on both days, it was only possible to set slalom gates and so lots of technical practice ensued.

Congratulations to Seb Downing 10U who has been selected to play for the England U15 Ice Hockey team at an international tournament in Amiens, France next week.

The Under 10As had a successful afternoon at the Alleyn’s Football tournament on Thursday 2 February.

Despite the bitterly cold conditions 64 Dulwich College Boat Club athletes braved the 3.5 Km long Hampton Head Race on Saturday. Over 800 crews enter this event.

On Sunday 29 January a group of 45 travelled to Wembley arena full of anticipation of a day’s fast and exciting indoor hockey; they were not disappointed.
