Old Blew and The Orchard, sitting adjacent to the College campus are surrounded by the most wonderful gardens and provide a beautiful and happy home for 55 pupils from Years 7 to 13. Recent development work see these two stunning houses connected by a contemporary link and an expansion to our common room facilities.

The boarding community is a cosmopolitan one and our diverse community helps to enrich the boys’ experience beyond the school day. A good mix of weekly and full boarders contributes to a thriving environment and the boys love their second home, whether it be Monday to Friday or seven days-a-week.

As Housemaster, Mr Brown highlights his priority as the boys being happy, engaged in school life and challenged yet supported in all areas. He puts great emphasis on the community being at the heart of the house where celebrating success is important. The structure of the boarding environment and timetable helps provide the required support during adolescent years. The boys are carefully guided in their academic work, with a supervised prep session every evening and the academic profile of boys is very high with impressive results at GCSE and A Level and an extremely strong list of university destinations. Boys leave the boarding community as well-rounded, responsible and independent-minded young men, enriched by the friendships they have made.
