For entry to the Middle School (Year 9) and the Upper School (Year 12)
At least one scholarship of up to one third of the tuition fee for excellence in sport will be offered for September 2013. At Year 9 successful candidates should be able to perform to a high level in one of the following sports: rugby, cricket, soccer, hockey. Candidates must offer at least two other sports.
The appropriate application form should be completed on behalf of candidates for the Sports Scholarship. This should accompany the Registration Form.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview session on Friday 11 January 2013 when they will be required to:
- be interviewed by the Director of Sport and the Master
- perform the sports offered
- perform appropriate fitness tests
At Year 12 successful candidates should be able to perform to Regional or International level in one of the following sports: rugby, cricket, soccer or hockey.
Candidates will be expected to attend an interview with the Director of Sport and provide evidence of the level of their performance.
All recipients of a Sports Scholarship are expected to contribute fully to the sporting life of the College in all three terms of the academic year.
