Permanent Exhibitions
A faithful reconstruction of the study in which P G Wodehouse (OA) wrote is in the exhibition area of the Wodehouse Library.
The James Caird, the lifeboat in which Ernest Shackleton (OA) and five others travelled 500 miles to South Georgia in 1916, is on display in the North Cloister of the main Barry buildings. Please check the James Caird page before coming in case the boat is out on loan to another institution.
These permanent exhibits may be viewed without appointment between 9 and 5 on weekdays during term time. Please refer to the term dates before planning your visit, and report to Reception for a visitor's pass on arrival.
